Natural Cowhide, "Vacchetta"
Vegetable tanned cowhide d.shoulders, full grain, art. Natural Crust, greased with SEGO (tallow), only in natural color.
The tallow (animal fat) fattening reproduces the ancient and characteristic Tuscan Vacchetta, a particularly greased, soft and fragrant leather, with a characteristic amber color, perfect for any type of application.
Being very greased it does not lend itself very well to absorb water, therefore to be taken into account in case the final processing involves tooling, carving or modeling by immersion in water.
It's an "A/low" grade as they may have some little defects (scratches, some low grain, some scars), which in any case do not affect the cut and use, even if mainly they must be destined for the production of small items, or in any case not valuable articles.
Thickness: mm. 2.8/3.2 or mm. 1.8/2.0.
Average size: about 1.50 square meters per skin.
